Why Melas
FOUNDED BY AN ENGINEER WHO HAS CARRIED A RIFLE AND A WRENCH
Melas was founded by a West Point engineer and former Army infantry officer after more than a decade working in the nation’s nuclear security enterprise.
Mission
The company started with a question.
For more than a decade, the founder’s work came back to one question: How well is this actually protected? Answering it meant understanding the threat, finding the vulnerability, and being willing to give an uncomfortable answer when that was the right one.

Threats were getting cheaper and more capable while the systems built to defeat them were getting more expensive and harder to field.
What followed
So Melas started building.
